New blog
I'll be creating a new blog soon. More information to come.
For now let's look at the meanings of some of the names of God.
El Shaddai means God Almighty or All Sufficient (see Genesis 17:21, 31:29, 49:24, 25)
Adonai means Lord or Master whenever it is in the plural form in the Bible. If it is in the singular form it
means human master or lord.
Jehovah-Jireh means The LORD WILL PROVIDE Gen. 22:14
Jehovah-ophe : The Lord Who Heals Me. Exodus 22:26 Implies spiritual and emotional as well as
physical healing.
Jehovah-Nissi : The Lord Our Banner Exodus 17:15 God on the battlefield.
Jehovah-M'Kaddesh : The Lord Who Sanctifies (to make whole, set apart for holiness, Leviticus 20:7,8;
"The Lord says, Consecrate yourselves and be holy because I am the Lord your
God."
Tomorrow, we'll look at some more meanings.
